StudyCore AI ("we", "our", or "the app") is an educational application designed to help users with studying, homework assistance, AI-powered learning, PDF summaries, quizzes, flashcards, and study planning.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use StudyCore AI.

1. Information We Process

StudyCore AI may process information that you voluntarily provide while using the app, including:

• Questions and study-related text entered into AI Tutor.

• Homework questions and images selected or captured by the user.

• Text extracted from images using text recognition.

• PDF documents or text selected for AI summarization.

• Study notes or topics used to generate quizzes and flashcards.

• Study planner information and other content created within the app.

This information is used only to provide the features requested by the user.

2. AI Features

StudyCore AI includes AI-powered features such as:

When you use an AI-powered feature, the content required to process your request may be sent to a third-party AI service.

Users should not submit passwords, financial information, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive personal information through AI features.

AI-generated responses may contain errors or inaccuracies and should be used as educational assistance rather than as a substitute for professional advice.

3. Camera and Photo Library

StudyCore AI may request access to your device's camera or photo library when you choose to scan or upload homework images.

Camera and photo access is used only when necessary to provide the feature requested by you.

4. PDF Files

If you select a PDF for summarization, StudyCore AI may extract text from the selected document in order to generate a summary.

Only documents that you choose are processed.

5. Advertising

StudyCore AI may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

Google and its advertising partners may process certain information, such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, and advertising interaction data, subject to applicable permissions, consent requirements, and Google's policies.

The app may also offer rewarded advertisements. Users may voluntarily watch a rewarded advertisement to receive an in-app benefit, such as an additional AI credit.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

StudyCore AI may offer an auto-renewable subscription called StudyCore Pro.

Payments and subscription transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. StudyCore AI does not directly collect or store your payment card or banking information.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled according to the terms shown by Apple at the time of purchase. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through their Apple account subscription settings.

7. AI Credits

StudyCore AI may use a credit-based system to manage access to AI-powered features.

Users may receive credits through free app usage, rewarded advertisements, or an eligible StudyCore Pro subscription, depending on the features currently offered by the app.

Credits are virtual in-app usage units and have no cash value.

8. Local Data

Certain app information, such as study history, preferences, planner information, or usage-related data, may be stored locally on your device.

Deleting the app may remove locally stored information unless the information is otherwise retained by a third-party service under its own policies.

9. Third-Party Services

StudyCore AI may use third-party services necessary to provide app functionality, including services for:

• AI processing

• Advertising

• Apple App Store purchases and subscriptions

These third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies.

10. Children's Privacy

StudyCore AI is designed as an educational tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable privacy laws.

Information processed by third-party services may be retained according to the applicable service provider's policies.

13. Your Choices

Depending on your device and location, you may be able to:

• Control camera and photo permissions through iOS Settings.

• Manage applicable advertising permissions.

• Manage or cancel your StudyCore Pro subscription through Apple.

• Delete locally stored app information where the app provides that functionality.

• Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data.
